Job summary

Synthlane is hiring a Flutter developer to build and ship our own iOS and Android apps end to end. This is a remote position with occasional visits to Gurugram. You will work directly with the founder on a small product team and contribute across the Flutter, FastAPI, Supabase, and PostHog stack.

There is no strict requirement for years of experience; shipped apps count. If you write clearly in English and use AI coding tools, you’ll fit in well and help the team move fast.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one app live on Play Store or App Store.
• Experience using AI coding tools daily and able to explain each line committed.
• Ask why before building and verify results after shipping.
• Communicate clearly in English, especially in remote settings.
• Willingness to visit Gurugram occasionally for in-person collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Build features in Flutter app and ship to Play Store and App Store, including signing and releases.
• Turn product specs into working screens, handling edge cases and offline scenarios.
• Debug problems by reading errors, hypothesizing, and validating fixes.
• Integrate with FastAPI backend, Supabase auth, and post events with PostHog.
• Write native Swift or Kotlin when a Flutter plugin isn’t enough.

We're hiring one Flutter developer to build and ship our own apps on iOS and Android, end to end. Years of experience don't matter. Shipped work does.

About us

Synthlane is a small product team in Gurugram. Our founder is a staff-level engineer who owns product decisions and reviews your work closely. We build our own products, not client work, on one shared stack: Flutter, FastAPI, Supabase and PostHog. You work directly with the founder, with no layers in between.

What you'll do

• Build features in our Flutter app and ship them to both the Play Store and the App Store, including signing, releases and store review.


• Turn product specs into working screens, and tell us when a spec is wrong or misses edge cases: empty states, offline, slow networks, cheap Android phones.


• Debug your own problems: read the error, form a hypothesis, use AI tools to move faster, then verify the fix.


• Integrate with our FastAPI backend and Supabase auth, and add PostHog events so we know whether a feature worked.


• Write native Swift or Kotlin when a Flutter plugin isn't enough.

You're a fit if

• You have at least one app live on the Play Store or App Store that you built mostly yourself. A personal project counts.


• You use AI coding tools daily (Claude, Cursor, Copilot or similar) and can explain every line you commit.


• You ask \"why are we building this?\" before you start, and \"did it work?\" after you ship.


• You write clearly in English over chat. Remote work depends on it.


• You flag problems early instead of explaining missed deadlines later.

You're not a fit if

• You've only built apps from tutorials or courses.


• You paste errors into an AI until something compiles and can't explain why the fix works.


• You need every screen fully specced before you can start.

Nice to have

Riverpod or Bloc in production, platform channels, push notifications, deep links, analytics instrumentation, and access to a Mac for iOS builds.
