About the Role
Manager – Networking will be part of the IT Infrastructure team that provides design, deployment & operational support for systems, services, and requirements across the Supply Chain. The IT Infrastructure team is also responsible for managing heterogeneous environments & generating metrics related to Network performance, capacity, availability, failure rates, etc. Specific experience with large scale WAN, Campus LAN, Campus WLAN, Data Center networking & Security is a must with strong technical orientation & creativity in problem solving.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

1. This is a mix of technical role and team management role.
2. This role would own the network function and be accountable for anything and everything related to the network.
3. Manage a team of 20+ which includes Managers and Network Architects.
4. Independently own the Network Infrastructure support solving complex issues and suggest design modifications as appropriate.
5. Ensure SLAs are met and track SLA breaches.
6. Take control of the situation during a crisis.
7. Manage BAU support, update the stakeholders with meaningful data.
8. Responsible for driving business growth and expansions from a networking standpoint.
9. Responsible for generating performance dashboard to BUs.
10. Ensure that the team adheres to all organization-wide processes, making sure that the team follows all best practices and technical documentation.
11. Develop, modify, and execute policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effects.
12. Problem management, capacity planning and analysis, performance analysis & root cause analysis.
13. Review the entire environment and execute initiatives to reduce failures, defects, and improve overall performance.
14. Drive automation within the team and influence others.
15. Ability to handle multiple complex tasks in a dynamic environment, with tight deadlines concurrently.
16. Mentor the next layer members in the team.
17. Generate meaningful reports to improve the team’s performance.
18. Use critical thinking and project management discipline, tools, and techniques in the day-to-day execution of responsibilities and in resource and workload planning.

What we do – We are responsible for the design, deployment, and running of the next generation Infrastructure services for critical business units like supply chain, customer experience, corporate offices, etc.
Our Scale & Complexity – 2500+ supply chain locations, hybrid data centers, multiple corporate offices, multiple customer experience centers, etc.

Mandatory Skills
10-12 years of experience in design, deploying & managing IPv4/IPv6 networks (Routers/Switches/Firewalls). Platform knowledge on Juniper/Palo Alto/Aruba/Fortigate/Cisco. Solid understanding of IP/MPLS and Ethernet technologies. Experience in IP services (IPv4, IPv6, VPN, Multicast, QOS, SNMP).

Desirable Skills
10-12 years of experience in design, deploying & managing IPv4/IPv6 networks (Routers/Switches/Firewalls). Platform knowledge on Juniper/Palo Alto/Aruba/Fortigate/Cisco. Solid understanding of IP/MPLS and Ethernet technologies. Experience in IP services (IPv4, IPv6, VPN, Multicast, QOS, SNMP).
