Job summary

Acesoft Labs is seeking an experienced embedded firmware professional in Hyderabad to lead firmware development and debugging across ARM/ARC MCUs. The role emphasizes deep debugging, lab tool usage, and close FW/SW integration with storage interfaces such as PCIe/NVMe and SATA.

Responsibilities focus on root-cause analysis, performance optimization, and collaboration with hardware teams. A strong background in C/C++, assembly, and lab equipment will be valued.

Qualifications

• In depth knowledge of embedded firmware development and debugging.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with hands-on debugging.
• Experience with lab tools and lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and chambers.
• FW/SW integration on MCUs (ARM, ARC) and understanding of MCU architecture.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and assembly programming is a plus; scripting aptitude.
• Background in storage systems (SSD/HDD) and interfaces (PCIe/NVMe, AHCI, SATA, SAS, UFS, eMMC).
• Experience with NAND flash domains (SLC/MLC/TLC/QLC) is a plus.
• Strong debugging and root-cause analysis capabilities.
• 3-5 years of related experience.

Job description

• In depth knowledge and extensive experience with deeply embedded firmware development and debugging
• Demonstrated good analytical and problem solving skills. Hands on debug and usage of debug tools and Lab tools (LA, Scope)
• Experience in Handling LAB Equipment like Oscilloscopes, Chambers and Controller samples
• FW/SW integration on a micro-controller (ARM, ARC). Good understanding of a microcontroller architecture.
• Experience with C/C++ and assembly programming is a plus
• Experience in scripting languages, programming tools and environment
• Experience of the storage industry, in SSD, HDD, storage systems or a related technology
• You have a deep understanding of storage interfaces that may include PCIe/NVMe, AHCI, SATA, SAS, UFS, eMMC. SSD / NAND Domain (SLC, MLC, TLC, QLC), experience with sophisticated NAND flash and other non-volatile storage knowledge is a plus
