Job summary

Luminous Power Technologies is seeking a skilled firmware engineer in India to lead design and development of high-power converters including DC-DC/AC-DC, inverters, UPS systems, and battery management interfaces. You will implement robust FW architectures, work with ARM/TI platforms, and integrate IoT connectivity across MQTT, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and other protocols.

Qualifications

• FW design & development experience of various high-Power converters (DC-DC/AC-DC/DC-AC, Single Phase & 3 Phase GTI/Solar Hybrid Inverter, UPS/PFC/MPPT/Charger-Solar/Non-Solar)
• Good hands-on exposure to FW architecture design & implementation
• Familiar with various power conversion topologies
• Experience writing FW for communication protocols like RS-232, MODBUS, I2C, SPI, CAN, WIFI, BLE, GSM, ETHERNET
• Interface devices to cloud using at least one IoT technology
• Experience on MQTT, WIFI/GSM Interface
• FW development on ARM core & TI based devices using fixed/floating point arithmetic
• Familiar with BMS design and Battery Charging concepts for Lead acid and Lion batteries
• EEPROM and Flash interfacing with microcontroller-based designs
• Experience with RTOS (FREE RTOS/THREADX/UCOS/QNX/Zephyr)
• Team Management, technical guidance, good communication skills, team player, independent, proactive & self-motivated
• Minimum Graduation in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering or related technical discipline

Job description

Key Requirements:

• FW Design & development experience of various high-Power converters (DC-DC/AC-DC/DC-AC, Single Phase & 3 Phase GTI/Solar Hybrid Inverter, UPS/PFC/MPPT/Charger-Solar/Non-Solar), Battery chargers (Lead Acid/Lion) etc.
• Good hands‑on exposure to FW architecture design & implementation.
• Familiar with various power conversion topologies.
• Have good experience of writing FW for communication protocols like RS-232, MODBUS, I2C, SPI, CAN, WIFI, BLE, GSM, ETHERNET etc.
• Could have interfaced devices to cloud using at least one of the IOT (GSM, WI-FI, 4G/LTE) technologies.
• Strong hands‑on experience on MQTT, WIFI/GSM Interface.
• Good FW development experience on ARM core & TI based devices (16/32 bit) using FIX/Floating point arithmetic.
• Familiar with BMS design and Battery Charging concepts for Lead acid and Lion batteries technologies.
• Could have interfaced EEPROM and Flash memories with microcontroller‑based designs.
• Could have worked at least on one of the RTOS FREE RTOS/THREADX/UCOS/QNX/Zephyr etc.
