Job summary

Acesoft Labs in Bengaluru is seeking an Embedded Firmware Developer with 2+ years of hands-on experience to build and maintain firmware for embedded IoT systems.

You'll work with 8/32-bit MCUs, AVR/SAM devices, and use cross compilers, debuggers, and emulators. Strong knowledge of RS-232/485, I2C, SPI and hardware interfacing is essential; you will troubleshoot and optimize firmware and ensure standards compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in embedded firmware development for IOT devices.
• Experience with 8/32-bit MCUs, preferably C.
• Hands-on with Atmel AVR/SAM MCUs.
• Familiar with cross compilers, debuggers, and emulators.
• Knowledge of RS-232, RS-485, I2C, SPI protocols.
• Experience interfacing keyboards, LCDs and displays.
• Experience using measurement tools like DSO, DMM, and logic analyzers.
• Analytical, methodical problem solving.

Embedded Firmware Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain firmware for embedded IOT systems.
• Fair understanding of hardware and software to integrate and optimize firmware.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to firmware functionality.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in embedded firmware development

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in firmware development of 8 / 32 bit Microprocessors / micro-controllers using C/C++. preferably C.
• Experience of working on firmware development of Atmel AVR/SAM family of micro-controllers
• knowledge of Cross compilers, debuggers and emulators used for firmware development.
• serial communication protocols like RS 232, RS 485, I2C, SPI etc.
• Must have worked on interfacing input / output devices like Matrix keyboards, LCDs and other types of displays.
• Should have used measurement and test equipments like DSO, DMM, Logic Analyzers etc.
• Methodical and logical approach with excellent analytical skills
