  • Communicates with FSO, AGM regarding events, incidents, recommendations, etc.
  • Review safety measures and monitor performance.
  • Co-develops with the management staff operating guidelines and practices.
  • Establishes and updates site-specific safety procedures and crime deterrent programs.

Regular maintenance of extinguishers, fire alarms, hydrant systems, fire pumps, and sprinkler systems is essential to ensure they function correctly during emergencies. Preparing and adhering to preventive maintenance (PPM) checklists can significantly reduce the risk of fire incidents. Conducting fire mock drills is an excellent way to assess the readiness of the establishment and the effectiveness of the emergency response plan. Assigning work tasks and providing comprehensive training in life safety and first aid equips staff with the necessary skills to handle unforeseen situations. It's also important to manage safety scheduling meticulously and ensure that all safety personnel's certifications are up-to-date, conducting periodic audits to maintain ongoing compliance. Continuous communication with the Fire Safety Officer (FSO) Assistant General Manager (AGM), and all relevant team members is vital to coordinate efforts and maintain high safety standards. Regular monitoring of building operations and establishing routine inspection tours focusing on critical areas such as stairwells, elevators, and ingress/egress points are key practices. Lastly, gaining and maintaining proficiency in building life safety systems ensures that safety protocols are second nature to the team, further embedding a safety culture within the organization.
