Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Fire Officer to lead site fire safety programs, coordinate with engineers, and ensure compliance with safety plans and permit systems.

The role requires reporting to the Manager-Fire & Safety, adherence to site schedules, and producing reports on inspections, incidents, and training outcomes as required.

This position involves emergency planning, LOTO and chemical safety controls where applicable, with a strong emphasis on risk reduction and compliance.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in fire safety and EHS programs.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Manager-Fire & Safety and follow instructions as issued.
• Work per site-specific shift schedule or duty timing as directed by Site lead/Manager-Fire & Safety.
• Render reports on EHS/Fire, inspections, compliance status, and incident/training outcomes.
• Handle safety programs including Safety Plans, Work Permit systems, LOTO planning and controls.
• Ensure procedures are implemented through monitoring and coordination with engineers/technical teams.

• 3. Render reports and returns related to EHS/Fire, inspections, compliance status, and incident/training outcomes as required.

Fire & Safety Program Management

• 4. Handle the entire gamut of safety programs, including:
  • Preparation and implementation of Safety Plans
  • Work Permit systems
  • LOTO planning and controls
  • Chemical safety controls (as applicable)
  • Ladder safety controls (as applicable)
  • Fire Action Plans and emergency response planning
• 5. Ensure strict implementation of procedures through effective monitoring and coordination with engineers/technical teams.
