Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Bengaluru, KA is seeking a proactive Fire and Safety Officer to manage life safety programs and ensure regulatory compliance on-site.

You will lead safety planning, risk assessments, training, access control, incident response, and site inspections while coordinating with facility teams to maintain robust safety policies.

• Ability to plan safety measures and train staff effectively.
• Knowledge of building life safety systems and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Safety planning- Risk assessment and effective safety strategies.
• Assigns/monitors work assignments and provides training in life safety, First aid, etc...
• Control access to buildings and monitor activities.
• Monitors safety scheduling and approval of contract invoices.
• Establishes inspection tours of the property, focusing on stairwells, elevators, and all areas of ingress/egress.
• Maintains and updates safety policies and procedures manual.
• Maintains a working knowledge of all current building, fire, and life safety code requirements.
• Assists in emergencies (i.e. Fire, evacuations human crises, etc.)
• Co-develops with the management staff operating guidelines and practices.
• Establishes and updates site-specific safety procedures and crime deterrent programs.
• Gains/maintains proficiency with building life safety systems.
• Review safety measures and monitor performance.
• Communicates with AGM regarding events, incidents, recommendations, staffing needs, etc.)
