Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an entry-level finance professional to assist in preparing financial statements and disclosures under US GAAP in Gurugram. You will review statements for accuracy, coordinate with operational teams, and support year-over-year analyses under tight deadlines.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field and 0-2 years of experience; freshers with solid fundamentals are welcome.

• Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of financial statements and related footnotes under US GAAP.
• Prepare financial statement disclosures, supporting schedules, and Schedule of Investments.
• Review financial statements for numerical accuracy, consistency, completeness, and disclosure quality.
• Perform year-over-year financial statement comparisons and identify changes, missing disclosures, and open items.
• Liaise with operational teams and internal stakeholders to coordinate deliverables, communicate status, and ensure timely reporting completion.
• Follow checklists, Standard Operating Procedures, and internal controls.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and suggest efficiency and quality improvements.
• Organize working files, supporting documents, and final financial statements.
• Manage assigned deliverables within tight reporting and audit deadlines.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a knowledge-sharing team environment.
