Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting, including restated financial statements, pro forma financial statements, and other related services.

Key Responsibilities:

GAAP Expertise:

Provide technical expertise on Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), i.e., US GAAP, IFRS, IND AS, and other relevant accounting standards.

Accounting Guidance:

Offer guidance on accounting treatments, financial reporting, and disclosure requirements under these GAAPs to the clients.

Complex Accounting Issues:

Assist clients in resolving complex accounting issues, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, and financial instruments, business combinations, among others.

Financial Statement Review:

Review financial statements to ensure compliance with GAAPs and other relevant standards.

Accounting Policy Development:

Help clients develop and implement accounting policies and procedures under these GAAPs

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure clients are compliant with relevant accounting regulations and standards requirements.

Training on GAAPs:

Deliver training sessions to the clients on the GAAPs i.e., US GAAP, IFRS, IND AS to the clients on request.

Requirements:

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, law, or a related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM, MBA, CA,) are highly desirable including candidates pursuing such professional certifications.

Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years of work experience, preferably.
• Candidates who are freshers and looking to build a career in Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting services are eligible.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of GAAPs i.e., IFRS, US GAAP and IND AS.
