Basic/Essential Qualifications:
- Qualified Accountant – CA/CMA/ACCA
- Strong academic background – 1st class honours, minimum bachelor degree from a reputable institution
- Prior experience in a month-end or quarter-end focused reporting role, control environment, or finance automation skillset
- Strong Excel skills
Desirable skills / Good to have:
- Good stakeholder engagement skills and understanding & executing their requirements / expectations
- Understanding of key accounting principles under IFRS
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication
This role will be based out of Noida.
Purpose of the role
To manage the financial operations of the organisation, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of financial reporting.
Accountabilities
- Management of the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements, and other accounting records in accordance with relevant standards, rules, and regulations.
- Support in identification, assessment, and mitigation of financial risks, and report on these risks to senior colleagues.
- Development and maintenance of a robust system of internal controls to safeguard assets, prevent fraudulent misreporting, and ensure the accuracy of financial data, including regular assessment of internal controls.
- Development and implementation of up-to-date financial policies and procedures to ensure consistent and effective financial practices.
- Management of the selection, implementation, and maintenance of financial systems and software applications, collaborating with IT colleagues to integrate financial systems with other enterprise systems.
- Preparation and submission of statutory and regulatory reports to authorities, and support to other departments in their report preparations.
- Coordination with external auditors and regulatory authorities in support of audits and examinations.
