Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with expertise in financial controllership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall Finance & Accounts function and ensure effective financial governance.
• Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Monitor business performance through MIS, KPI dashboards, variance analysis, and profitability reporting.
• Manage treasury operations, cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and working capital optimization.
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Drive FP&A and provide strategic insights to leadership for business decision-making.
• Oversee statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage direct and indirect taxation, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other obligations.
• Strengthen internal controls, policies, SOPs, and governance.
• Partner with business, operations, procurement, and commercial teams to optimize profitability.

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead the organization's finance and accounting function. The ideal candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant with strong expertise in financial controllership, budgeting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), treasury management, financial reporting, compliance, taxation, and business partnering. The role requires ownership of end-to-end finance operations, including financial planning, cash flow management, statutory compliance, internal controls, audit coordination, MIS reporting, and strategic financial decision-making. The candidate will work closely with senior leadership to improve financial performance, drive cost optimization, strengthen governance, and support business growth. The ideal candidate should have experience working in manufacturing, engineering, industrial, infrastructure, or similar sectors, with the ability to lead finance teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and implement process improvements through ERP systems and automation.

• Strengthen internal controls, financial policies, SOPs, and corporate governance practices.
• Partner with business, operations, procurement, and commercial teams to improve profitability and optimize costs.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, consultants, and other external stakeholders.
• Support business expansion, capital expenditure planning, and investment evaluation.
• Lead ERP implementation, finance automation, and process improvement initiatives.
• Develop and mentor finance teams while ensuring high standards of performance and compliance.
• Present financial reports, budgets, and business insights to senior management and leadership.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in the HVAC or energy sector.
• Experience working in and scaling high-growth startups.
