Job summary

Cyfuture is seeking a Finance Controller to lead controllership, accounting, reporting, compliance and audit for a fast-growing IT services business. The role demands hands-on ownership of financial reporting, month-end closure, statutory compliance, internal controls and finance processes while partnering with senior management.

The ideal candidate is a Chartered Accountant with 7–12 years of relevant experience, deep knowledge of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, and hands-on ERP and Excel

• Chartered Accountant with 7–12 years of experience in finance and controllership.
• Strong knowledge of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Experience with statutory compliance and audits.

Responsibilities

• Own P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and month-end closing.
• Drive accurate financial reporting and MIS.
• Ensure compliance with Ind AS, CARO, ICFR, GST, TDS, Income Tax, ESI, PF and Professional Tax.
• Manage Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, Tax Audit and Limited Reviews.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors and external stakeholders.
• Manage accounting controls, reconciliations, provisions and financial governance.
• Handle tax/statutory matters and litigations.
• Drive ERP implementation, finance automation and process improvements.
• Partner with business teams to improve financial discipline and working capital.
• Provide financial insights to support management decisions.

Role Purpose

We are looking for a Finance Controller to lead financial controllership, accounting, reporting, compliance and audit functions for a fast-growing business. The role requires strong hands-on ownership of financial reporting, month-end closure, statutory compliance, internal controls and finance processes, along with the ability to work closely with senior management and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and month-end closing.
• Drive accurate and timely financial reporting and MIS.
• Ensure compliance with Ind AS, CARO, ICFR, GST, TDS, Income Tax, ESI, PF and Professional Tax.

  Ideal Candidate

  A Chartered Accountant with 7–12 years of relevant experience and strong expertise in financial accounting and controllership. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow, along with hands-on experience in month-end closure, audits, statutory compliances, Excel and ERP systems.

  Experience in IT/ITES, technology, infrastructure, data centre, cloud or high-growth services is preferred. Experience handling finance for a ₹100+ Cr services business or ₹200+ Cr goods/business environment will be an added advantage.

  The candidate should demonstrate strong ownership, analytical ability and problem-solving skills, with the ability to improve finance processes and deliver measurable business outcomes. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and taking end-to-end ownership of the finance function.
