Job summary

Siemens Mobility in India is seeking a Finance professional with 7–12 years of experience in financial controlling, contract management and sales finance within project-based industrial sectors such as energy, infrastructure, and automation.

You will partner with regional sales and support the bid process from contract analysis to financing concepts, risk assessments and post-offer negotiations, contributing to transparent financial planning and profitable deals for Siemens Mobility.

Title: Sales Commercial Finance (Business Administration Professional)

Responsibilities/ Role:

• Partnering with Regional Sales Manager & driving Sales team to achieve the Business targets
• Manage and take ownership of all financial and commercial activities during Solution acquisition (contract analysis, cost calculation, cashflow projections, business models, taxation, financing concepts, currency, risks and opportunities, bonds, terms of payment, credit rating, insurances, export control, compliance, etc).
• Cooperate with specialist departments and support in preparation of comprehensive, on-time, competitive offers.
• You will be responsible for analyzing tender documents, deriving bid strategies, and conducting contract negotiations until the contract is signed. Identifying risks for offers under preparation and driving necessary risk management measures.
• Present offers and complex issues transparently to executive management.
• Responsible for preparation & presentation of qualitative LoA along with Sales.
• Negotiate T&Cs and consortium contracts with the bid team and other internal stakeholders.
• Support the Sales team with various business models.
• Perform Sales data analysis for driving decisions on reach, customers, pricing etc.
• Prepare monthly business reports for timely decisions
• Provide timely & qualitative information about order income, Sales SG&A cost controlling, etc. to maintain transparency in business transactions to enable the management to take the appropriate, timely, and corrective actions.

Requirement:

• Looking for a finance professional (7–12 years experience) with strong expertise in financial controlling, contract management, and sales finance within project-based industrial sectors (e.g., energy, infrastructure, automation), with a commercial/business-oriented mindset rather than traditional accounting.
• Experience from similar industrial or engineering-driven organizations is preferred
