Job summary

Ascensus in Chennai seeks a Finance Process Specialist to manage loans, distributions, census, trust accounting, packaging, 5500, and valuation imports as needed by the admin/client support team.

You will train team members, help set strategy, and monitor progress toward goals while delivering high productivity, accuracy, and quality. Flexibility for day/night shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate in Finance/Accounting
• Proven track record of working in flexible, result-oriented environments
• Ability to manage high-volume processing with accuracy

Responsibilities

• Perform diverse processes like loans, distributions, census, trust accounting, packaging, 5500, valuation imports as required by the admin/client support team
• Train team members, set strategy and monitor progress towards goals
• Complete tasks as per processes with accuracy and timeliness
• Deliver set metrics for productivity, volume and quality
• Review processes in addition to processing tasks
• Handle high-volume processing within the required time frame
• Identify issues and escalate to the team lead

Roles & Responsibility:

• Responsible for performing various processes like loans, distributions, census, trust accounting, packaging, 5500, valuation imports based on the admin/client support team requirement.
• Should be responsible for training team members, setting strategy and monitoring progress towards goal.
• Complete a variety of tasks as per processes assigned within specified parameters of the client/admin/support team.
• Delivering the set expectations in terms of key business metrics like “productivity, volume count and quality”.
• Functions include – only processing the above-mentioned processes.
• Apart from processing, the team member should be able to “Review Process”.
• Ability to accurately process high volume within the specified time frame.
• Identify the issues/problems related to processes if any and cascade to the respective team lead.

Education and experience:

• Graduate / Postgraduate in Finance/Accounting background
• Proven track record of working effectively in flexible work environment in a result-oriented approach

Skill Requirement:

• Should have communication skills, Problem solving and analytical skills
• Basic MS Office knowledge and preference to good working knowledge of Excel
• Must be able to adapt the assignments quickly
• Flexibility in work culture (She/he should be flexible in Day/Night shift based on business requirement)
• Good Knowledge in Reconciliation concepts
