Job summary

Alfa Laval Corporate AB in Pune, India, is seeking a Financial Analyst to support finance, controlling, reporting, budgeting, and data accuracy. You will coordinate with business and finance stakeholders, perform reconciliations, and help ensure process compliance within our ERP environment.

The ideal candidate holds a CA/CA Inter/CMA/ACCA, with 6–8 years of experience in manufacturing finance, and demonstrates advanced Excel and PowerBI skills to drive insightful analysis and process

Qualifications

• Finance qualification (CA/Inter CMA/ACCA) required.
• 6–8 years of experience in finance, controlling, reporting or accounting support.
• Experience in Manufacturing and ERP-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day finance, controlling, and reporting activities.
• Assist in preparation of reports, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end closing processes.
• Ensure accuracy of financial data and compliance with defined processes.
• Coordinating with business and finance stakeholders on routine operational requirements.
• Support system, reporting, and process improvement initiatives as required.

Financial Analyst

To support finance and controlling activities through reporting, analysis, reconciliations, budgeting support, and process coordination, and process compliance while improving data accuracy and supporting system/process-related requirements. Requires analytical ability, Excel proficiency, attention to detail, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day finance, controlling, and reporting activities
• Assist in preparation of reports, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end / periodic closing processes
• Ensure accuracy of financial data, documentation, and compliance with defined processes
• Coordinating with business and finance stakeholders on routine operational requirements
• Support system, reporting, and process improvement initiatives as required

Required Skill Set

• Advanced understanding of finance, controlling, and reporting processes
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with problem solving attitude
• Excellent working knowledge of Excel and financial data handling
• Good working knowledge of MS Office, PowerBI or similar analytical tools
• Attention to detail and focus on data accuracy
• Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills
• Ability to work in a structured and deadline-driven environment
• Willingness to learn new systems and support process improvements

Qualifications & Experience Requirement

• Finance Qualification -CA / CA Inter/ CMA / ACCA

• 6-8 years of relevant experiencein finance, controlling, reporting, or accounting support roles
• Experience in Manufacturing industry
• Experience in operations controlling preferred
• Experience in anERP-based environmentand exposure to reporting / reconciliation activities preferred
