Job summary

FNZ India seeks a Finance Analyst to manage the group’s Indian ledger, support P&L and Balance Sheet under India GAAP and IFRS, and contribute to month-end close. You will handle intercompany settlements, AP/AR, and tax deductions with accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires CA qualification with 3–5 years’ experience or 6–8 years for Inter CA track, strong Excel skills, and good communication. Knowledge of GST, TDS, FEMA is a plus.

The finance analyst's role would be central to ensuring that these services are delivered efficiently and effectively from a financial standpoint. Their ability to provide accurate financial analysis, insights, and recommendations will help the company make informed decisions, improve operational efficiency, and drive profitability in a highly competitive sector.

The Finance Analyst would be a key player in ensuring the entities financial controls, contributing to financial closing & reporting process and ensuring hands on working on day-to-day process, while ensuring that the organization remains compliant with financial regulations.

Specific Role Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the financial ledger for the Group's Indian resource center, including support for P&L and Balance Sheet in both India GAAP and IFRS for Group reporting.
• Support the month-end reporting cycle by reconciling P&L and Balance Sheet items including month-end closing activities.
• Help manage intercompany recharges and positions with other Group entities.
• Handle accounts payable tasks, including invoice processing, vendor management, reconciliation, PO management, staff reimbursements, payment journals, and remittances.
• Manage and ensure compliance with TDS provisions, deducting TDS on various types of payments and ensuring this is deposited on time each month.
• Practical/working knowledge of GST and Income Tax, including applying the correct GST rates, determining eligibility of input tax credits, ensuring compliance with GST and TDS provisions, etc.
• Gain practical experience with FEMA compliance, including Softex filings.
• Assist in fixed asset accounting and reconciliation.
• Support accounts receivable activities, including invoice raising and AR reconciliation.
• Perform bank reconciliations and process payments as part of routine financial activities.
• Have proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred but not essential.
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills.

Experience required

• Qualified Chartered Accountants with 3 years to 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis.
• Intermediate Chartered Accountant with 6 years to 8 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis.
