Job summary

Horizen pvt ltd in Bengaluru, Karnataka, seeks an experienced Financial advisor to serve as Principal Officer for its AI/ML-powered investment advisory platform. You will lead investment research, portfolio analysis, model oversight, and regulatory compliance under SEBI IA rules.

The role requires a relevant degree and mandatory NISM Series X-A and X-B certifications; prior investment analysis or wealth management experience; and a strong grasp of financial markets.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Mathematics, Statistics, or an equivalent qualification meeting applicable SEBI requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in investment research, asset allocation, portfolio construction, optimisation, and risk assessment.
• Oversee AI/ML-driven investment advisory models, portfolio recommendations, backtesting, and risk controls.
• Ensure compliance with SEBI IA regulations, client risk profiling, suitability assessments, disclosures, and documentation.
• Develop and maintain investment advisory policies, SOPs, audit trails, and regulatory records.
• Monitor market trends, macroeconomic indicators, and portfolio performance.
• Coordinate with technology teams to ensure transparent, explainable, and compliant automated investment recommendations.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in investment research, asset allocation, portfolio construction, optimisation, and risk assessment.
• Oversee AI/ML-driven investment advisory models, portfolio recommendations, backtesting, and risk controls.
• Ensure compliance with SEBI IA regulations, client risk profiling, suitability assessments, disclosures, and documentation.

Preferred Experience:

Experience with SEBI-registered Investment Advisers, fintech companies, or algorithm-driven investment platforms.
