About the role:

We are looking for Financial Advisors to evaluate and authorize loan applications for our students. You will act as a liaison between students and loan services to ensure that qualified applicants obtain loans on time. You’ll work with a diverse group of people from leading MNCs and startups to establish, nurture, and grow business across categories and territories.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop strategic relationships with potential students who would require a loan.
• Develop a strong pipeline of new students through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting.
• Place outbound calls, send letters, and emails to contact delinquent borrowers and advise them of their repayment responsibilities and options.
• Receive phone calls from students, answering their questions regarding their loan queries and repayment options.
• Analyze the financial status of a borrower.
• Monitor and analyze the steady pipeline to review performance and optimize accordingly to ensure objectives are met.
• Maintain strong follow-ups and regular feedback calls.
• Create lead engagement plans and strategy.
• Research the details pertaining to each offering and add onto it in a timely basis.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any or a related field.
• 6 months - 5 years of experience in financial industry, fintech or study abroad sector preferred.
• Demonstrable network in the outbound student remittance market, student consultant, exchange companies, etc.
• Consistently performed in a sales environment either in an AD2 or sales profiles.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel & PowerPoint would be an asset.
• Positive attitude, flexible nature, thrives in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Knowledge of forex, outward remittance and markets is desirable.
• Analytically strong with willingness to learn.
