Job summary

NHS Golden Jubilee is seeking a Financial Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team. The role supports accounts payable, receivable and treasury duties under supervision.

You'll need strong Excel and IT skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office, and good communication. Experience in a finance environment is helpful; training and development are provided.

• Support the Financial Accountant, Ledger Supervisor, and Financial Accounting Officers in Accounts Payable, Receivable and Treasury objectives.

• Input and process financial information, completing routine financial transactions to ensure continuity of supplies and services for the board.
• Support completion of various projects as directed.

About You

We are looking for a motivated person who has excellent Excel and IT skills also knowledge of all Microsoft Packages. Good communication skills and experience of working in a finance environment – although this is not essential.

About The Role

This is a support role within Finance, and consists of the following:

• To support the Financial Accountant, Ledger Supervisor, and Financial Accounting Officers in the delivery of Accounts Payable, Receivable and Treasury objectives
• Work as directed by the Assistant Financial Accountant to process Accounts Payable and Receivable invoices accurately and timeously ensuring adherence to departmental timetables
• Inputs and processes financial information, completing routine financial transactions in accordance with procedures to ensure continuity of supplies and services for the board
• Work as directed to support completion of various projects
