BearingPoint is seeking a Finance Senior Expert to join its Cross‑Shore Enablement Hub in Bangalore. This role is critical for supporting end‑to‑end financial operations including statutory reporting and complex tax topics, acting as a trusted partner for both local and international stakeholders.

Our Role

The Finance Senior Expert will be part of BearingPoint’s Cross‑Shore Enablement Hub (CSH), a centralized team delivering high‑quality finance and accounting services for BearingPoint India. The role supports end‑to‑end financial operations, statutory and group reporting, and complex tax topics, acting as a trusted finance partner for local and international stakeholders while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and transparency.

Primary Functions and Tasks

• Manage bookkeeping activities
• Prepare and oversee local statutory reporting requirements, including:
• Trial balance analysis and review
• GST preparation and submissions, support/review
• Corporate income tax computations support
• Application and detailed understanding of Withholding Tax (TDS) regulations
• Support during state audits and statutory audits
• Budgeting & Forecasting:
• Support the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecast cycles
• Group Reporting & Financial Analysis - perform comprehensive Group reporting duties, including:
• Detailed Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet analysis (preferred / nice to have).
• Clear and structured explanation of Actual vs. Plan/Forecast variances (preferred / nice to have).
• Prior experience in transfer pricing is considered an asset and will be highly valued

• 10+ years of experience in general accounting
• Experience with Indian accounting/tax practices;
• Strong knowledge of Indian taxation
• Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
• Strong communication skills with a proactive mindset
• Analytical and logical thinking abilities
• High level of interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, confidentiality, and integrity
• Advanced level of English
