Job summary

Haleon Bengaluru is seeking a skilled Finance professional to join the Global Finance Services team. You will manage and optimize reporting and data processes, drive an intercompany profit elimination framework, and coordinate with global teams to deliver accurate financial statements.

Trading Partner Finance (TPF) is a high professional, high performing Global team, enabling the Haleon supply chain to get products to customers on-time and improve everyday heath for billions of people, through strong partnership across the business. As an FMCG business, Haleon operates in a highly dynamic environment and our activities, at the heart of the global supply chain, are fundamental to getting ahead of our competitors as we react quickly to market opportunities and support strategic business change.

This is a high-profile role with a global remit that requires the ability to effectively manage and influence teams and stakeholders across different countries and levels.

Our activities support ca. 95% of Haleon’s trade as it routes through a series of specifically designed trading entities which principally cover the procurement, supply, import and export of product for intercompany and 3rd party cross border transactions.

Job description

TPF is building a new team at the Haleon GCC, Bengaluru. This team will receive activities migrating from the UK. You will initially play a key part in ensuring the success of this project. Your post-transition responsibilities will include – but non-exhaustively Responsible for the oversight of the Group Intercompany Profit Elimination processes Covering all related activities, including managing the period end & AAR processes Contributing to team objectives, plans & projects Day to day oversight of outsourced BPO team (Genpact) Being an ambassador for Global Finance Services (GFS) and TPF Managing stakeholders, dealing with escalations and gathering feedback Supporting regular communication with global teams to cascade process / system information Continuously identifying & driving improvements in end-to-end processes, ensuring sustainability & suitability for an FMCG company Having a strong compliance mindset, ensuring adherence to Sox controls, GxP etc Ensuring audit queries are answered in a timely manner Supporting the Finance Reporting Principal with ad-hoc requests, activities & projects

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree MBA or Accounting qualification (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent)
• At least 6 years of financial management experience
• Experience working with global / corporate level financial reporting in a large global organization
• Experience of enterprise level financial processes and / or systems
• Experience of working in a controls / Sarbanes Oxley environment
• In depth knowledge of SAP
• Solid analytical Skills
• Ability to identify & resolve problems
• Self-motivated and display of initiative in solving problems
• Disciplined, robust organisation skills, ability to plan & manage workload
• Actively seek to improve process making them more effective & efficient
• Ability to work in cultural diverse teams and reconcile cultural differences
• Effective communication skills and ability to interact with & influence stakeholders internally and externally

Preferred Requirements

• Supply Chain and / or FMCG industry experience
