Job summary

BCD Meetings & Events (Remote) is seeking a Manager Finance SSC to lead finance operations across accounting functions, drive month-end close, and strengthen governance. You will manage cross-entity teams and partner with Finance Business Partners to ensure accurate reporting and continuous improvement.

The role requires ACCA/CIMA/CPA or equivalent, strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge, and SAP expertise, with a focus on delivering high-quality financial services from a remote SSC setup in India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or CPA.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience leading finance teams in a multi-entity, international environment.
• Experience in a Shared Service Centre environment.
• Hands-on SAP experience (S/4HANA preferred).
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance operations across Project Accounting, Reconciliation, General Accounting, and Accounts Payable, ensuring accurate and timely delivery in line with company accounting policies and agreed service levels.
• Manage month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring reconciliations, accounting entries, and financial reporting are completed on time.
• Maintain strong financial governance and controls, supporting audit, tax, and compliance requirements and ensuring issues are identified and resolved.
• Lead and develop finance teams, setting clear expectations, monitoring performance and supporting individual, and team development.
• Monitor operational performance, using agreed KPIs and service levels to identify issues, manage priorities, and support consistent service delivery.
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen controls, and improve efficiency.
• Work effectively with Finance Business Partners, operational teams and other finance stakeholders, managing escalations.
• Have a problem solving mindset and be a bit tech savvy, looking for improvements and optimizations.
• Communicate in English, both written and spoken.

What You'll Bring

• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or CPA
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS principles
• Experience leading finance teams within a multi-entity, international environment
• Experience working within a Shared Service Centre environment
• Hands-on experience with SAP (S/4HANA preferred)
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
