Finance Manager, MX Player, Amazon MX Player

Amazon MX Player is shaping the future of digital video entertainment in India. We are looking for a Finance Manager to be a part of this new service ramp-up. The successful candidate should execute flawlessly while demonstrating ability to think strategically as well. This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial minded candidate who wants to work in a start-up like environment and is passionate about digital media and new customer experiences. The Finance Manager will be part of the finance team and will play a key role partnering the content and marketing functions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
2. 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
3. 6+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
4. 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
5. 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
6. 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
7. 6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
8. Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
2. 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
3. MBA, or CPA
4. Knowledge of SQL/ETL
5. Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
6. Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
