Job summary

A manufacturing organisation is seeking a qualified CA/CMA to run factory finance for manufacturing operations in Bangalore. • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost & Management Accountant (CMA).
• Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience.
• Experience in factory finance with inventory management and product costing.
• Background in FMCG industry.
• Sound grasp of cost accounting: standard costing, BOM, routing, absorption and variance analysis.
• Understanding of inventory valuation, stock provisioning and shelf-life/expiry risk.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / similar) and advanced Excel.

• Track slow-moving, obsolete and expiring stock, and suggest provisions.
• Reconcile physical stock counts with books and investigate differences.

• Support month-end close, including accruals and cost allocations.
• Partner with production, procurement and supply chain to improve margins and working capital.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, statutory audit requirements and cost audit.

• Run month-end inventory valuation across raw material, packing material, WIP and finished goods
• Track slow-moving, obsolete and expiring stock, and recommend provisions and corrective actions
• Reconcile physical stock counts with books and investigate differences
• Prepare monthly plant MIS, cost sheets and yield, wastage and conversion-cost reports
• Support month-end close, including accruals, GRN-to-invoice reconciliation and cost allocations
• Partner with production, procurement and supply chain to improve margins and working capital
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, statutory audit requirements and cost audit (where applicable)
