Qualifications

• Proven experience in Accounting/Finance and strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
• Fluent English with good communication skills; another language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation of the Accounting department with strong financial controls.
• Develop and implement business strategies, monitor performance, support decisions.
• Lead and manage the Accounting team with growth, accountability and performance.
• Own the hotel budget and overall Profit & Loss performance.
• Ensure accounting functions are controlled and aligned with standards.
• Analyse performance and accounting practices; provide improvement recommendations.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and prepare documentation for audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth and effective operation of the Accounting department, maintaining strong financial process controls, operational efficiency, and supporting hotel growth.
• Develop and implement business strategies, setting clear objectives, monitoring performance, and supporting strategic decision-making.
• Lead and manage the Accounting team, fostering a culture of growth, development, accountability, and performance.
• Take ownership of the hotel budget and overall Profit & Loss performance.
• Ensure that all accounting functions are properly controlled, reviewed, and developed in accordance with company standards.
• Analyse business performance and accounting practices, providing recommendations to improve financial results.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and best practices, preparing all necessary documentation for internal and external audits.

• Proven experience in Accounting/Finance, with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent team management skills, with a hands-on approach and a leadership style based on leading by example.
• Passion for the hospitality industry and a strong commitment to service quality.
• Ability to identify creative solutions and provide strategic recommendations.
• Strong sense of responsibility and personal integrity.
• Good proficiency in IT systems and digital tools.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of a second foreign language will be considered an advantage.
