Job summary

Drip Capital in Mumbai is seeking a technically sound accounting professional to independently manage day-to-day accounting activities, banking coordination, reconciliations, and compliance support while ensuring accuracy and timely closure of financial transactions.

The ideal candidate will handle LC coordination, journal entries, GST compliance, and FX mapping in Zoho Books, contributing to precise, timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Semi-CA with hands-on accounting experience.
• Experience in day-to-day accounting, banking coordination, reconciliations, and compliance.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and taxation concepts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate international LCs, banking activities, FX booking, and bank documentation.
• Pass journal entries for provisions, CN/DN, TDS, advances, reimbursements and balance write-offs.
• Coordinate with customers and suppliers for account reconciliation and follow-ups.
• Assist in GST compliance, statutory audits, and tax audits.
• Understand and manage FX gain/loss computation and mapping in Zoho Books.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and support day-to-day finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate international Letters of Credit (LCs), banking activities, FX rate booking, and bank documentation.
• Verify GL accounts and pass journal entries for provisions, CN/DN, TDS, advances, reimbursements, and balance write-offs.
• Coordinate with customers and suppliers for account reconciliation and follow-ups.
• Assist in monthly and annual GST compliance, statutory audits, and tax audits.
• Understand and manage FX gain/loss computation and mapping in Zoho Books.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and support day-to-day finance operations.
