Job summary

Topia Life Sciences is seeking an Assistant Manager - Finance to support its finance function with accounting, MIS reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis. The role includes preparing management presentations and contributing to strategic initiatives including mergers and acquisitions.

You will work with the finance team to ensure accurate books, support month-end and year-end closings, and help drive cost control and process improvements while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• CA/CMA/ACCA/CPA preferred.
• 3–6 years of relevant finance experience.
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting activities and maintain books.
• Support month-end and year-end closings.
• Prepare MIS reports for senior management.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
• Prepare management presentations for board reviews.
• Support M&A activities including due diligence and analysis.
• Assist in cost control and process improvement initiatives.
• Guide and support junior finance team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate books of accounts
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare and analyze MIS reports for senior management
• Assist in annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations for management and board reviews
• Support M&A activities including financial due diligence and analysis
• Assist in cost control and process improvement initiatives
• Guide and support junior finance team members

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• CA / CMA / ACCA / CPA preferred
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting
