Job summary

Mcnex India is seeking a skilled Finance & Accounts professional in India to manage end-to-end accounting, including books, journal entries and GL maintenance, and to process vendor invoices, customer receipts, and bank transactions.

The ideal candidate has 4–8 years in Finance & Accounts, solid GST/TDS/PF/ESI familiarity, and proficiency with Tally and MS Excel; SAP or Zoho Books exposure is a plus. This on-site role offers growth toward management positions.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years in Finance & Accounts with Senior Executive or Senior Accountant preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, PF/ESI and month-end closing.
• Experience supporting audits and statutory filings is desirable.
• Proficient with Tally and MS Excel; exposure to Zoho/SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting including bookkeeping, journal entries and GL maintenance.
• Process vendor invoices and payments under Accounts Payable and reconcile vendors.
• Handle customer receipts and reconciliations under Accounts Receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor bank transactions and fund transfers.
• Ensure GST, TDS, PF/ESI compliance and prepare related reports.
• Validate payroll data and support monthly salary processing.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports for management review.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide schedules and records for audits.
• Support ROC/MCA filings and financial statements as per Schedule III.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting, including bookkeeping, journal entries and general ledger maintenance.
• Process vendor invoices and payments under Accounts Payable, and carry out regular vendor reconciliations.
• Manage customer receipts and outstanding follow-up under Accounts Receivable, and carry out customer reconciliations.
• Handle bank transactions, payments and fund transfers, and prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
• Ensure statutory compliance for GST (GSTR-1, GSTR-2B, GSTR-3B, refunds), TDS (monthly payments and quarterly returns), PF and ESI.
• Validate payroll data and support monthly salary processing and documentation.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports covering payables, receivables, expenses, cash flow and cost analysis for management review.
• Carry out month-end and year-end closing, ledger scrutiny, trial balance checks, and accruals, provisions and prepaid entries.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors, and provide schedules and supporting records for audit finalization.
• Support ROC/MCA filings and financial statement preparation as per Schedule III of the Companies Act, 2013.
• Liaise with vendors, customers, banks, consultants and internal teams on finance-related matters.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: B.Com, BBA, BCA or M.Com. An MBA (Finance) or a pursuing SAP FICO certification is a plus.
• Experience: 4 to 8 years in Finance & Accounts, with a Senior Executive or Senior Accountant designation preferred.
• Core skills: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliation, general ledger, GST, TDS, PF/ESI and month-end closing.
• Software: Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP 9 / TallyPrime and advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables). Exposure to Zoho Books, SAP or other ERPs is an advantage.
• Industry exposure: Manufacturing, logistics, software services, pharma or apparel preferred.
• Soft skills:
