Job summary

DVS Advisory Group, Chennai-based finance and advisory firm, seeks a driven finance professional to join as Manager – Finance & Accounts. You will work closely with founders and a senior finance leader, handling data analytics, planning, MIS, fundraising support, and direct involvement in governance and capital structuring from day one.

Qualifications

• CA with 7–8 years post-qualification experience (preferred).
• Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills; comfortable with Tally, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks.
• Genuine curiosity about FP&A, fundraising, and strategic finance.
• Comfortable working with a senior mentor, taking direction on some tasks and ownership on others.
• High attention to detail and an ownership mentality in a fast-moving environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly MIS reports, dashboards, and variance analysis for founders and leadership.
• Build and maintain budgets, cash flow forecasts, and burn-rate tracking.
• Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for business decisions.
• Continuously improve financial processes, controls, and reporting templates as the company scales.
• Participate in day-to-day finance operations as required.
• Support preparation of financial models, investor decks, and data room documentation across fundraising rounds.
• Assist with cap table hygiene, ESOP tracking, and coordination with legal and compliance advisors on fundraise filings.
• Compile periodic investor and board reporting packs.

Manager – Finance & Accounts

About the Role

We're looking for a driven, detail-oriented finance professional to join us as an early, hands-on member of the finance function.

This role sits close to the founders and reports directly to a senior finance leader (Chartered Accountant). The exposure is deliberately broader than a comparable role in a larger organisation — spanning data analytics, financial planning, MIS, and direct support on fundraising.

We want someone building toward finance leadership, who is comfortable with the pace, ambiguity, and ownership that come with an agile environment.

Financial Planning, Analysis & MIS Reporting

• Prepare monthly MIS reports, dashboards, and variance analysis for founders and leadership
• Build and maintain budgets, cash flow forecasts, and burn-rate tracking
• Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights that drive business decisions
• Continuously improve financial processes, controls, and reporting templates as the company scales
• Participate in day-to-day finance operations as required

Fundraising & Investor Support

• Support preparation of financial models, investor decks, and data room documentation across fundraising rounds
• Assist with cap table hygiene, ESOP tracking, and coordination with legal and compliance advisors on fundraise-related filings
• Compile periodic investor and board reporting packs

What We're Looking For

• Chartered Accountant with 7–8 years post-qualification experience (preferred)
