Role: Finance Manager

Role Type: Full-Time

About the Role:

We are looking for a sharp, execution-driven Finance Manager who is ready to make the definitive leap from external deal advising to owning internal finance inside a fast-growing, venture-backed company.

It is a core operating role for someone who wants to roll up their sleeves, take ownership of financial statements, diligence, and compliance, and work directly with founders, investors, and lenders in a lean, high-velocity environment.

What You Will Own & Do:

Financial Statements, Modeling & Valuation: Own and drive financial statement analysis, complex financial modeling, valuations, and financial due diligence. Manage corporate actions including secondaries, FEMA/FC-TRS compliances, charge filings, and structured investor reporting.

Direct Stakeholder Management: Stand shoulder-to-shoulder with external stakeholders. You will face and communicate directly with venture capital investors, lenders, statutory auditors, and legal counsel with absolute clarity and professional maturity.

Hands-on Execution & Compliance: Stay close to the ground. Manage statutory audits, tax filings (direct/indirect), and ROC filings. Oversee and coordinate effectively with outsourced accounting partners to ensure books are pristine and audit-ready.

Proactive Ownership: Anticipate blockers and close loops independently. You take pride in being punctual and proactive closing out items cleanly before anyone needs to chase you.

What You’ll Need:
  • 1. Qualification & Experience: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4–6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) at a Big 4 firm (PwC, EY, Deloitte, KPMG). Must have worked on real, live deals not just supported them from the back-office.
  • 2. The Career Pivot: Clear intent to transition from advising on deals externally to owning financial operations and growth internally within a venture-backed setup.
  • 3. Technical Rigor: Deep command over financial statements, diligence, valuation, modeling, secondaries, FEMA/FC-TRS regulations, charge filings, and investor reporting frameworks.
  • 4. Communication & Maturity: Highly articulate, direct, and blunt. Completely comfortable facing tough questions from investors, lenders, auditors, and legal counsel without hand-holding.
  • 5. Execution Discipline: Hands-on mindset. Confident in audit cycles, tax computations, ROC filings, or managing vendors and outsourced accounting teams.
  • 6. Cultural Alignment: Based in or open to Bengaluru.
