Atmosphere Wellness is seeking a Finance Manager - Manufacturing in Bangalore to lead financial planning, budgeting, and cost control for our manufacturing operations. You will collaborate closely with manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, and senior management to drive profitability and informed decision-making.

The role covers budgeting, cost accounting, inventory valuation, cash flow, and financial reporting, with emphasis on internal controls and compliance to ensure efficient resource

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing finance, budgeting, and cost accounting.
• Ability to prepare management reports, variance analyses, and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Financial Planning & Analysis: Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variances.
• Manufacturing Cost Control: Monitor costs, raw materials, labour and overheads.
• Inventory & Working Capital Management: Oversee valuation, stock reconciliation, and material costing.
• Financial Reporting & MIS: Prepare financial statements and performance summaries.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, receivables/payables, and liquidity.
• Procurement & Capital Expenditure: Track supplier payments and capex vs budgets.
• Taxation, Compliance & Audit: Ensure statutory filings and coordination with auditors.
• Internal Controls & Procedures: Maintain controls and reconciliation procedures.
• Payroll & Labour Cost Monitoring: Track payroll and production labour costs.

Job Description Finance Manager - Manufacturing

The Finance Manager- Manufacturing provides financial management, planning, and reporting support to ensure the companys manufacturing operations run efficiently and cost-effectively. The role oversees budgeting, cost control, inventory valuation, cash flow, compliance, and financial reporting while working closely with manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, production, and senior management teams to support profitability and informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

• - Financial Planning & Analysis: Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analyses to monitor performance, identify financial risks, and support management decisions.
• - Manufacturing Cost Control: Monitor production costs, raw materials, labour expenses, and overheads to improve cost efficiency and product profitability.
• - Inventory & Working Capital Management: Oversee inventory valuation, stock reconciliation, material costing, and working capital to maintain accurate records and efficient resource utilisation.
• - Financial Reporting & Management Information: Prepare financial statements, management reports, cost analyses, and performance summaries to support timely and accurate decision-making.
• - Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, payment schedules, receivables, payables, and funding requirements to maintain liquidity and meet financial obligations.
• - Procurement & Capital Expenditure: Monitor procurement expenses, supplier payments, purchase commitments, and capital expenditure against approved budgets and financial policies.
• - Taxation, Compliance & Audit: Ensure timely tax filings, statutory payments, financial documentation, and coordination with auditors in accordance with applicable regulations.
• - Internal Controls & Procedures: Maintain financial controls, approval processes, reconciliation procedures, and accounting practices to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy.
• - Payroll & Labour Cost Monitoring: Monitor payroll expenses, production labour costs, overtime, and related employee costs to ensure accurate reporting and cost management.
• - Cross-Functional Financial Support: Work with manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, production, and senior management teams to identify savings and support business growth.
