Job summary

SatSure Analytics India seeks a Finance Manager to lead controllership, accounting, reporting, treasury, taxation and compliance in a fast-paced tech startup environment.

You will own financial close, consolidation, MIS, cash-flow planning and investor reporting, while supporting fundraising and audits. The role partners with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams for scalable finance processes.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of relevant experience in tech/start-up finance.
• Hands-on with Zoho Books and financial reporting.
• Experience in group consolidation and subsidiary accounting.
• Strong GST, taxation, audit and statutory compliance knowledge.
• Experience in investor reporting, fundraising and due diligence.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial close and reporting.
• Ensure accuracy of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and financial schedules.
• Review accounting entries, provisions, accruals, revenue recognition and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
• Manage consolidation of Indian and overseas subsidiaries.
• Review inter-company transactions, balances and eliminations.
• Coordinate with subsidiary finance teams for timely closing and reporting.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Own accounting operations and controls in Zoho Books.
• Drive automation of accounting, invoicing, collections, vendor payments and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes through technology and automation.

Looking for a Finance Manager to lead end-to-end financial controllership, accounting, reporting, treasury, taxation, compliance, and business finance activities. The role will oversee financial close, consolidation, MIS, cash flow, investor reporting, fundraising support, audits, and finance process automation .

Role Overview

We are looking for a Finance Manager to lead the company's financial controllership, accounting, reporting, treasury, taxation, compliance and business finance activities.

The role will have end-to-end responsibility for financial close, consolidation of multiple entities, MIS, cash-flow management, investor reporting, fundraising support, statutory compliance, audit management and finance-process automation .

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced technology/start-up environment and should be capable of independently managing senior stakeholders, auditors, investors, banks, tax advisors and cross-functional teams.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial close and reporting.
• Ensure accuracy of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and financial schedules.
• Review accounting entries, provisions, accruals, revenue recognition and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
• Manage consolidation of Indian and overseas subsidiaries.

• Prepare consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules.

• Ensure proper chart of accounts, transaction recording, reconciliations and reporting.
• Drive automation of accounting, invoicing, collections, vendor payments and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes through technology and automation.

4. MIS, Budgeting & Business Finance

• Prepare monthly MIS, management dashboards and financial analysis.
• Track revenue, expenses, margins, budgets and key business KPIs.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Provide financial insights to management for business decisions.

5. Cash Flow & Treasury

• Own short-term and long-term cash-flow planning and forecasting.
• Monitor collections, vendor payments, payroll and other major cash requirements.
• Manage working capital and ensure optimal utilisation of available funds.
• Coordinate with banks on banking operations, facilities, BGs and other treasury matters.
• Prepare financial information and MIS for investors, lenders and the Board.
• Support fundraising, due diligence, valuation and financial data-room requirements.
• Coordinate with investors, lenders, advisors and internal teams for financial information.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data shared externally.

7. GST, Tax & Compliance

• Oversee GST, TDS and other direct/indirect tax compliances.
• Review GST returns, reconciliations, notices and tax assessments.
• Ensure timely statutory filings and maintain appropriate documentation.
• Coordinate with tax advisors and consultants on tax matters.
• Lead coordination with statutory auditors, internal auditors and other advisors.
• Ensure timely closure of audit requirements and observations.
• Prepare audit schedules, financial workings and supporting documentation.
• Support investor, lender and transaction-related due diligence.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of relevant experience, preferably in a high-growth, technology or start-up environment.

Must have skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Zoho Books and financial reporting .
• Experience in group consolidation and subsidiary accounting .
• Strong understanding of GST, taxation, audit and statutory compliance .
• Experience in investor reporting, fundraising and financial due diligence .
• Strong cash-flow, working-capital and MIS experience.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proven experience in managing and developing finance teams.
