Responsibilities

• Assist in processing and monitoring EMI financing transactions.

• Track applications from initiation through approval, disbursement, and settlement.
• Maintain records of EMI transactions, approvals, cancellations, refunds, and settlements.
• Perform daily/weekly reconciliation against bank and partner reports.
• Prepare MIS reports on EMI sales, approvals, disbursements, settlements.

Job Description – Finance Intern (EMI Financing)

Position: Finance Intern – EMI Financing

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Intern to support our EMI financing

operations. The intern will assist with processing and monitoring customer financing transactions,

coordinating with lending/financing partners, maintaining financial records, and ensuring timely

reconciliation and documentation.

This role is ideal for someone interested in finance operations, consumer lending, EMI processing,

reconciliation, and financial services.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in processing and monitoring customer EMI financing transactions.
• Verify customer and transaction details as per internal processes and financing partner requirements.
• Coordinate with banks, NBFCs, fintech/lending partners, and internal sales/operations teams regarding EMI cases.
• Track financing applications from initiation through approval, disbursement, and settlement.
• Maintain accurate records of EMI transactions, approvals, cancellations, refunds, and settlements.
• Perform daily/weekly reconciliation of EMI transactions against bank, payment gateway, and financing partner reports.
• Identify discrepancies in transaction amounts, settlements, refunds, or commissions and escalate them appropriately.
• Assist in preparing MIS reports related to EMI sales, approvals, disbursements, outstanding cases, and settlements.
• Follow up on pending approvals, documentation, settlement issues, and transaction exceptions.
• Support invoice, payment, and financial documentation related to EMI transactions.
• Maintain organized records and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist the finance team with month-end closing and other finance-related activities.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and applicable processes for financing transactions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed B.Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance), or a related finance/accounting course.
• Basic understanding of accounting and financial concepts.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with formulas such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIF, COUNTIF, and Pivot Tables is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of customer and financial information.
