Job summary

Kaplan Middle East & North Africa is seeking an experienced Fulltime instructor with CFA certifications to deliver high-quality lectures in both live classrooms and online environments. The role involves designing courses, developing content, and coordinating with operations and sales teams to drive course launches.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of full-time experience in finance/training, plus CFA Level 1-3 experience, and is fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of full-time work experience in finance/training.
• 2+ years recent experience teaching professional qualification or finance/accounting courses in live classroom.
• Experience delivering CFA Level 1-3 trainings.
• Ability to convey competence and adjust lesson plans on the fly.
• Willingness to travel within Middle East, Asia & Africa.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lectures in live classrooms and online sessions.
• Design and suggest new courses for market needs.
• Develop course content (slides, questions, case studies).
• Coordinate with operations to schedule courses.
• Assist sales and marketing as needed; write marketing content.
• Market courses by delivering presentations to corporate clients.
• Counsel students before joining courses and mentor during the course.

Job description

Kaplan is a world leader in Professional Education and is currently experiencing rapid growth in the MENA region. In supporting this growth, we are seeking to hire an experienced Fulltime instructor, with industry certifications and expert knowledge in CFA. The role is based in UAE region.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Trainer include but are not limited to:

• Delivering consistently high-quality lectures, both in a live classroom environment as well as online (recorded sessions)
• Suggesting and designing new courses that are appropriate for the market
• Developing or manage development of course content (slides, questions, case studies, etc.) for the various courses
• Other responsibilities include:
• Liaise with the operations team on the scheduling of the course
• Assist the sales and marketing team when required
• Writing the content for all the marketing collateral needed to launch the course e.g. website, emailers, brochures etc.
• Marketing of courses by preparing and delivering presentations to potential corporate clients
• Counselling students before they join any course
• Mentoring students during the course
• Remaining always current in his/her discipline

A strong urge for working with and helping people; must be a people’s person

• Ability to explain difficult concepts quickly and clearly
• Excellent spoken and written English language skills
• Ability to take ownership of a task from start to finish
• Cheerful and positive attitude. Must have a well-developed sense of humor
• Fluency in Arabic will be a value add

Qualifications

Experience

• At least 3-5 years’ full-time work experience
• At least 2 years’ recent experience of part-time or full-time experience teaching any Professional qualification or other finance/accounting courses in a live classroom environment.
• Have an experience in delivering trainings in CFA Level 1,2,3.
• Ability to convey competence in subject matter and confidence in ability to teach
• Ability to put a specific lesson into larger context
• Ability to adjust lesson plan on the fly based on information garnered from student questions.
• Be innovative when designing and delivering learning
• Passion for learning and sharing knowledge and to keep improving
