Adani Group is seeking a Site Finance Head to oversee site accounting, budgeting and financial closure for mining operations. The role emphasizes robust governance, compliance and strategic budgeting across the cluster.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in finance with 8+ years in MIS, planning and budgeting within a large manufacturing or mining setup, and strong leadership capabilities to mentor the team.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional experience.
• 8+ years in finance and accounts in a large organization (manufacturing or mining).
• 8+ years in MIS, Planning and Budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site accounting, bookkeeping, business support, management accounting, financial closure, compliance & capitalization.
• Detailed review of Financial Focus & Control Areas to ensure accurate reporting and NIL Pendency in BU Scorecards.
• Finalize checks and balances for monthly/quarterly book closures for mining companies.
• Ensure SOP/DOA/IFC/Mass Compliance/MSME Payment Compliance and nil GST exposure/RCM liability.
• Coordinate and validate annual operating budget input and compare with historical costs.
• Monitor budget vs utilization with variance analysis and timely business input.
• Release PR/SES with due justification.
• Assist business in de-bottlenecking mines/projects to complete CAPEX plan (spend and capitalization).
• Mentor and develop team for higher roles and potential replacements in cluster/group.

Role & responsibilities

Site Finance head will be overlooking for site accounting, bookkeeping, business support, management accounting financial closure, compliance & capitalization

Preferred candidate profile

Financial Reporting and Compliance

• Detailed review of Financial Focus & Control Areas to ensure any adverse reporting and maintaining our BU Scorecard for NIL Pendency.
• Finalized all the Check and Balances required for book closure of all the Mining Companies with respect to Monthly / Quarterly.
• Compliance of the group guidelines with respect to SOP/ DOA / IFC/ Mass Compliance/ MSME Payment Compliance/ Nil Exposure to company from GST Credit prospective / RCM Liability and Payment compliance.

Operating Budget preparation, control & Support

• Coordination and Validation Annual operating Budget input & comparing with historical cost
• Effective monitoring of budget uploaded Vs Utilized along with reason for variance by way of analysis & timely input to business.
• Release of PR/ SES with due justification.

Capex, Projects and your contribution

• Assist Business in De-Bottlenecking Mine/ Projects to complete the projected Capex plan both in terms of spent and capitalization.

Future Proofing - Talent Development and Management

Responsible for Mentoring and developing the team members for higher level roles or step up for potential replacements in the key leadership roles in the Cluster / Group.
