Job summary

Dana Anand India Pvt. Ltd. seeks a Finance Head to lead the finance and accounting function for its auto component manufacturing operations. You will steer budgeting, costing, treasury, and governance to enable profitable growth and strategic decision-making.

The role demands strong expertise in manufacturing finance, working capital management, and cross-functional partnering with Operations, Supply Chain, and HR to drive efficiency and robust financial controls across plants and warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall Finance & Accounts function, ensuring achievement of business objectives, profitability targets, and sustainable financial growth.
• Drive annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, long-term financial planning, and strategic decision support for management.
• Oversee product costing, standard costing, variance analysis, and cost optimization initiatives across manufacturing operations.
• Monitor plant performance, manufacturing overheads, material consumption, labor productivity, and operational efficiencies to improve margins.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, MIS reports, and management dashboards.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, banking relationships, treasury operations, and fund utilization to maintain healthy liquidity.
• Lead inventory valuation, inventory control, and working capital improvement initiatives across plants and warehouses.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and corporate requirements including GST, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other applicable laws.
• Coordinate and manage statutory audits, internal audits, cost audits, tax audits, and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
• Drive capital expenditure (CAPEX) evaluation, investment analysis, business case preparation, and post-implementation reviews.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, and HR teams to improve profitability, productivity, and overall business performance.
• Develop and strengthen internal control systems, financial governance frameworks, and risk management processes.
• Lead ERP and digital transformation initiatives to enhance financial controls, reporting accuracy, and process efficiency.
• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team while driving a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Present financial performance, business insights, and strategic recommendations to the CEO, Board of Directors, and key stakeholders for informed decision-making.
