Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end financial operations for 3-5 major client accounts across industries.
• Oversee multi-entity consolidations, intercompany transactions and cross-border reporting.
• Drive financial transformations and improve profitability for client portfolios.
• Lead post-merger integrations, financial due diligence and restructuring projects.
• Develop tax strategies across multiple jurisdictions and optimize VAT/credits.
• Create investor-ready financials, KPI dashboards, board packs and forecasts.
• Oversee ERP migrations, implement financial controls and drive process improvements.
• Handle revenue recognition (IFRS 15) and tokenomics reporting for Web3 clients.
• Serve as financial adviser to C-suite, and coordinate with auditors and tax advisers.
• Support business development and onboarding with scope definition.

About The Role

As a Financial Controller, you'll be at the heart of our operations, managing diverse financial scopes across multiple industries and jurisdictions.

One day you might be structuring a cross-border tax strategy that saves a client £300K, the next you're implementing project-based accounting for a video production company, and by Friday you're preparing board packs for a Series B startup. Key Responsibilities:Strategic Financial Leadership

• Lead end-to-end financial operations for 3-5 major client accounts across different industries (Tech, Web3, Creative Agencies, Retail)


• Oversee multi-entity consolidations, intercompany transactions, and cross-border financial reporting


• Drive financial transformations - we've turned companies from £1.5M losses to £1M profits

Technical Excellence Across Multiple Scopes

• M&A & Restructuring: Lead post-merger integrations, financial due diligence, and restructuring projects


• Tax Optimisation: Develop tax strategies across UK/US/international jurisdictions (transfer pricing, R&D credits, VAT planning)


• Advanced Reporting: Create investor-ready financials, KPI dashboards, board packs, and strategic forecasts


• Systems & Automation: Lead ERP migrations, implement financial controls, and drive process improvements


• Specialised Accounting: Handle complex areas like revenue recognition (IFRS 15), tokenomics reporting for Web3 clients, project-based accounting

Client & Team Management

• Serve as the primary financial adviser to C-suite executives and founders


• Lead a team of 5-10 finance professionals using our structured 5-person framework


• Coordinate with tax advisers, auditors, and legal teams across multiple countries


• Manage urgent client requests with our 60-minute response time commitment

Business Development

• Identify opportunities to expand services within existing clients


• Support new client onboarding and scope definition


• Contribute to thought leadership and process innovation
