Job summary

Adani Capital Pvt Ltd, Bhadrak (Dhamra Port) is seeking a Finance Controller to lead budgeting, consolidation, and finalization of OPEX/CAPEX and ensure timely approvals.

You will oversee monthly MIS, financial statements, cash flows, and internal controls; drive efficiency and coach the finance team while adopting modern systems and standards.

Qualifications

• CA with 15+ years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Experience handling end-to-end finance operations in a large organization or infrastructure/port setup.
• Strong exposure to balance sheet finalization, statutory audits, and regulatory compliances.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, consolidation, review, and finalization of annual OPEX and CAPEX budgets and ensure timely approvals.
• Monitor and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue, cost, and profitability performance and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide financial evaluation and decision support for capital expenditure proposals and investment decisions.
• Ensure timely preparation and circulation of monthly MIS reports and coordinate performance reviews.
• Oversee the preparation, analysis, and review of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Analyze expenses, receivables, and working capital trends and drive operational efficiency.
• Manage cash flows, liquidity positions, and short-term investment decisions.
• Strengthen internal financial controls and ensure closure of audit observations.
• Ensure completion of statutory audits within defined timelines.
• Ensure compliance with GST, EPCG obligations, and all applicable statutory requirements.
• Lead, coach, and develop the finance team.
• Drive adoption of modern finance systems, technologies, and best practices.
