Job summary

FalconX Bengaluru is seeking a Finance Associate to join the Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting team. You will prepare complete financial statements from scratch under US GAAP and IFRS, handle technical accounting matters, and support M&A accounting activities.

The ideal candidate will have 2–4+ years of relevant experience, a Big 4 background, and strong knowledge of financial services and instruments. You will contribute to process improvements and work on complex disclosures.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of relevant experience in technical accounting and financial reporting.
• Big 4 experience strongly preferred with focus on advisory or technical accounting consulting.
• Strong background in Financial Services and financial instruments/products.
• Ability to prepare full financial statements and notes to accounts independently.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prepare end-to-end US GAAP and IFRS financial statements including Balance Sheets, P&L, Notes to Accounts and Disclosures.
• Ensure statutory reporting and compliance with accounting frameworks.
• Handle complex technical accounting treatments and disclosures for financial instruments.
• Support M&A accounting activities and business combinations.
• Assist with reporting platform enhancements and system implementations.
• Collaborate across teams to improve processes and accuracy.
