Job summary

Varroc in Pune, India seeks a Finance Analyst to support monthly financial reviews, dashboards, and budgeting activities across plants. You will coordinate with BU and PM teams to close books, analyze cost trends, and provide actionable insights for senior leadership.

The role involves closing monthly accounts, assessing profitability, and driving stability in baseline profitability across plants with a focus on cost control and cash flow analysis.

Job Title : Finance Analyst

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Monthly review of financial impact of operations
• Preparation & compilation of data for MIS Review, operations Review and stakeholder follow up
• for closure of open points related to finance
• Perform monthly profitability forecasting for BU to be provided to senior leadership/ management
• Conduct monthly review of Financials (with previous month, previous year and budget) by
• thorough study of material cost deviations, month on month trend of FC and VC, one timers in
• P&L, other income and other key impacts
• Review matching of Supply Chain and BD provisions for all the plants at end of each month to
• ensure completeness of RM back to back.
• Analyze and establish future trends in EBITDA, profitability, Fixed Cost, Variable cost etc. and
• ensure P&L correctness
• Conduct monthly analysis of P&L, Inventory Days, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, ROCE,
• Capex for Senior Management Review

• Address finance related concerns raised by other functions driven through BU Finance team
• Provide financial data/analysis with recommendations to other BU functions specific to their requirements
• Coordinate with PM team BD team and other stakeholder for pending recoveries from customers
• Establish a steady run rate (baseline profitability) at a fixed level of sales and breakeven for loss making plants
• Monthly Financial Closing for all Plants
• Review of all plant P&L s before month closure and address accounting & one timer related issues
• Review with plant finance controllers for monthly collation of financial data at BU Level
• Annual Budgeting Exercise
• Conduct yearly plant budgetary reviews for all plants
• Ensure that Budget is based on the guidelines from corporate finance.

• Analyze and recommend for key projects of BU Head
• Execute key initiatives at BU level by coordinating with other functions
• Assisting other function in projects undertaken by them
