Job summary

NORTHBOUND ADVISORS PVT LTD in Chennai seeks a Finance Analyst to join our transaction advisory team. You will work with leadership on client mandates, prepare investor materials, conduct financial analyses, and support deal execution from start to finish.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of relevant experience, CA/CFA/MBA (Finance) or equivalent, and strong MS Excel/PowerPoint skills, with familiarity of Indian accounting standards and regulatory frameworks related to transactions.

Qualifications

• CA, CFA (Level II/III preferred), or MBA in Finance from a reputed institution.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in financial advisory, investment banking, Big 4 transaction advisory, equity research or corporate finance.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with databases such as Capitaline, Tracxn, Venture Intelligence or similar is a plus.
• Sound understanding of Indian accounting standards (Ind AS), taxation basics and regulatory frameworks relevant to transactions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex analysis clearly.
