Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking an experienced leader for Field Risk and Service in Mumbai. The role focuses on directing the onsite team, aligning performance with policy requirements, and collaborating with global partners to optimize operations.

The ideal candidate will bring 10–15 years of relevant experience, strong leadership, and a proven ability to drive client-focused service and process improvements in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree preferred for advancement.
• 10-15 years of relevant work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite leadership to the team and conduct regular performance conversations.
• Recruit and onboard new team members as needed.
• Build relationships with onsite and onshore partners, including leadership counterparts.
• Ensure team members adhere to policies and written supervisory procedures.
• Optimize efficiency and productivity within the team and identify technology improvement opportunities.
• Ensure team members meet performance and quality objectives.
• Complete various projects and assignments as needed.
• Stay current on all policies and procedure changes.
• Drive employee engagement and a culture of teambuilding and inclusion.

Responsibilities:

• Key responsibilities may include but will not be limited to the following.
• Provide onsite leadership to team members within department, including regular performance and career conversations.
• Recruit and onboard new team members as needed.
• Build key relationships with business partners onsite and onshore, specifically leadership counterparts.
• Ensure team members adhere to policies and written supervisory procedures associated with their functions.
• Optimize efficiency and productivity within the team and share opportunities to improve with business partners (e.g., technology improvement opportunities) .
• Ensure team members are meeting performance and quality objectives.
• Complete various projects and/or assignments as needed.
• Stay current on all policies and procedure changes.
• Drive employee engagement and a culture of teambuilding and inclusion.

Education:

• High School Diploma/Equivalency.
• College degree preferred.
• 10-15 years of work experience in a field relevant to the position preferred.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Evidence of strong leadership capabilities or previous supervisory experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and client service skills.
• Effective problem solver.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Detail orientated with superior organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
