Job summary

General Energy Management Systems P. Ltd. seeks a Field Service Engineer to perform on-site maintenance and repairs of oil and gas equipment, including fuel dispensers at outstations.

You will diagnose issues and ensure optimal uptime across installations. You will coordinate with engineers and technicians, follow safety standards, document activities and reports, and participate in training to stay current with equipment and procedures.

Qualifications

• ITI/DIPLOMA/Btech in Mechanical or Electrical
• Experience in field service/maintenance is preferred

Responsibilities

• On-Site Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on oil and gas equipment, including fuel dispensers at retail outstations.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and troubleshooting complex technical issues that may arise during operation of equipment.
• Installation and Commissioning: Assisting with installation, configuration, and commissioning of new equipment to operate safely and as per guidelines.
• Customer Support: Providing technical support and guidance to clients to maximize efficiency and safety.
• Safety Compliance: Ensuring adherence to safety standards and identifying risks to prevent accidents.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining detailed records and providing reports to supervisors.
• Training and Knowledge Sharing: Attending training sessions to enhance understanding of equipment operations.
• Field Operations Coordination: Coordinating with engineers, technicians, and project managers.
• Adherence to Company Policies: Following quality, health, safety, and environmental protocols

Job role

• Installation and Commissioning: Assisting with the installation, configuration, and commissioning of new equipment (fuel dispensers and other types of equipment at retail outstations like Petrol pumps), ensuring that it operates according to specified guidelines and safety standards.
• Customer Support: Providing technical support and guidance to clients or customers, addressing their concerns, and offering solutions to maximize the efficiency and safety of their operations.
