Job summary

SV Electronics is seeking a Field Service Engineer as part of a stated apprenticeship pathway. The role focuses on hands-on installation, servicing, and testing of UPS systems, voltage stabilizers, and industrial batteries at client sites.

You will assist senior technicians, learn fault diagnostics, and potentially transition to full-time roles with greater responsibilities and benefits. The ideal candidate should have basic electronics knowledge, electrical skills, and be willing to travel to

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electronics components (resistors, capacitors, diodes, relays, transformers).
• Basic electrical practices: wiring, earthing, load calculation and safety.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission UPS systems, stabilizers, and battery banks at customer locations.
• Perform routine service, fault diagnosis, and component-level troubleshooting.
• Replace faulty modules, connectors, fuses, and relays as needed.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and health checks on installed systems.
• Maintain service logs, customer feedback, and basic documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards during field operations.
• Coordinate with internal teams for parts, tools, and service updates.
• Site visits for load assessment and capacity evaluation.

This FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER offers hands‑on field experience in servicing and installing UPS systems, voltage stabilizers, and industrial batteries. Key Responsibilities:
