Job summary

Altosh Hr Consulting seeks a Field Service Engineer (FSE) with a strong refrigeration background to install, service, and maintain equipment at customer sites. The role is hands-on and requires frequent field travel.

We expect ITI or Diploma holders, solid understanding of refrigeration components, and the ability to troubleshoot issues on site. A two-wheeler for local travel is mandatory and willingness to travel outstation is required.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems (compressors, condensers, evaporators, refrigerants).
• Must own a bike/two-wheeler for local travel.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including outstation assignments.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, commissioning, servicing, and breakdown maintenance of refrigeration equipment at customer locations.
• Diagnose and resolve technical faults to minimize downtime.
• Conduct preventive maintenance visits as per schedule.
• Maintain accurate service reports, spare parts usage, and customer visit logs.
• Coordinate with the service team for spare parts requirements and escalations.
• Travel to customer sites (including outstation) as required.

About the Role

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer (FSE) with a strong refrigeration background to handle installation, servicing, and maintenance of equipment at customer sites. The ideal candidate is hands-on, mobile, and comfortable with frequent field travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, commissioning, servicing, and breakdown maintenance of refrigeration equipment at customer locations.
• Diagnose and resolve technical faults efficiently to minimize customer downtime.
• Conduct preventive maintenance visits as per schedule.
• Maintain accurate service reports, spare parts usage, and customer visit logs.
• Coordinate with the service team/back office for spare parts requirements and escalations.
• Travel to customer sites (including outstation) as required company will arrange/support outstation travel.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through timely and professional service delivery.

Candidate Requirements

• ITI or Diploma is mandatory (Refrigeration/Mechanical/Electrical or related trade).
• Strong hands-on experience/background in refrigeration systems (compressors, condensers, evaporators, refrigerants, etc.).
• Must own a bike/two-wheeler for local travel.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including outstation assignments.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Basic communication skills to interact with customers and report issues clearly.
