Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Operator III in India to support wellsite activities, perform maintenance, pre-job checks, tool preparation, and supervise operators while upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities include rig-up and rig-down of wireline equipment, inspecting and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical tools, and participating in pre-job planning and risk assessments. Strong HSE awareness and basic English are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–6 years of experience in oilfield operations, preferably wireline services.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with oilfield equipment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong health, safety, and environmental (HSE) awareness.
• Basic English proficiency is required.

As a Field Operator, you will perform maintenance, job preparation, tool pre-job and post-job checkouts, tool maintenance, rigging up and rigging down, job site supervision of operators, training of operators and maintaining a high level of safety awareness.

As a Field Operator III, you will be responsible for:
