About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Field Engineering Manager to join a high-profile industrial project in Boden, Sweden. This is a hands-on, site-based leadership role where you’ll coordinate closely with engineering, construction, and project management teams to ensure alignment across all field activities. You’ll be responsible for leading the field engineering function, resolving on-site challenges, and keeping execution aligned with design and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field engineering teams across different project scopes
• Coordinate daily activities between field teams, engineering, and construction
• Monitor and respond to RFIs, deviations, and non-conformities
• Support EPCM construction work by providing robust, technically sound solutions
• Ensure field execution aligns with scope, technical specs, and quality standards
• Identify and escalate risks, delays, or issues to the project management team
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure full compliance with HSE regulations
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development and performance

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related)
• 8+ years of experience in heavy industrial projects or similar environments
• 3+ years in a leadership or managerial position within engineering or construction
• Solid knowledge of field engineering practices, construction methods, and project delivery
• Familiarity with European and/or Swedish engineering standards and regulations
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive mindset
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders
