Job summary

Talent Pull is actively seeking an experienced Field Engineer with 2+ years of telecom and OFC deployment experience to join our field operations across Punjab and Meerut on a full-time permanent basis. You will execute fiber splicing, OTDR testing, and equipment commissioning at on-site cell sites, while ensuring safety and quality in every task.

You will coordinate with the NOC during outages, maintain logs, and perform preventive maintenance on OFC routes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional hands-on experience as a Field Engineer or OFC Deployment Engineer.
• Strong practical expertise in optical fiber splicing, OTDR testing equipment, and power tools.
• Solid knowledge of telecom passive infrastructure, OFC route maintenance, and site power systems.
• Must be willing to travel across field locations in Punjab and Meerut and have legal eligibility to work in India.

Responsibilities

• Execute on-site telecommunications installation, optical fiber splicing, fusion testing, and termination works across Punjab and Meerut.
• Perform OTDR testing, power meter attenuation checks, and optical link commissioning.

Detailed Job Description:

As a Field Engineer supporting telecom and OFC field operations across Punjab and Meerut via Talent Pull, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of on-site installation, integration, and corrective maintenance. Your day-to-day responsibilities include executing fiber optic splicing, OTDR testing, optical link commissioning, and cellular tower base station hardware installations. You will perform routine preventive maintenance, diagnose on-site transmission and power faults, and coordinate closely with the Network Operations Center (NOC) during outage restoration. Furthermore, you will ensure strict adherence to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) guidelines across all field assignments, maintain accurate site logs, and manage local spare parts inventories.

Key Responsibilities:
