Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification is required.
• Willing to work in factory/workshop environments with Hindi and English.
• Organized, reliable and able to manage physical equipment.
• Basic computing skills: file management and spreadsheets.
• Comfortable traveling daily across Delhi NCR and nearby cities; six-day weeks.
• Two-wheeler license is a plus.

Job Summary

Innodata is looking for detail-oriented and proactive Field Data Collection Associates to collect high-quality
real-world data for AI and machine learning projects. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of
experience in fieldwork, data collection, surveys, inspections, or similar activities and be comfortable using
smartphones and digital applications to capture and submit data.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect real-world data, including photographs, videos, and other required information, according to project guidelines.
• Visit assigned locations and performed field-based data collection activities.
• Use smartphones, mobile applications, and digital tools to record and upload collected data.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and quality of all collected information.
• Follow project-specific instructions, timelines, and quality standards.
• Maintain proper records of completed field activities and daily progress.
• Coordinate with team leaders and project managers to meet assigned targets.
• Follow data privacy, confidentiality, and safety guidelines throughout the collection process.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in field data collection, market research, surveys, field operations, verification, or a related role.
• Degree or equivalent, with the confidence to walk into a factory or workshop and work with owners, supervisors and shop-floor workers in Hindi and English.
• Organized and reliable with physical equipment: check-in and check-out, batteries, cards, serial number accounting.
• Basic computer skills: file management, spreadsheets, Android or GoPro-style devices.
• Able to travel daily across Delhi NCR, and surrounding Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, work six-day weeks during collection windows.
• Nice to have field research, data collection, field sales or site supervision experience; photography or video basics; two-wheeler license.
• Minimum educational qualification: Any Graduate
